Health Ministries

Aims & Goals

To promote optimum levels of physical, mental, and spiritual health by engaging with the local community and church members to help meet individual health needs by:

  1. Improving health and maintaining a healthier lifestyle through prevention of disease. “Beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your souls prosper” (3 John verse 2);

  2. Ministering to those who are ill, and promoting the church’s standards in healthful living among members and the local community through church-operated health ministries programs. (Jeremiah 33:6; Isaiah 40: 29-31).

“Christ's method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, Follow Me” (Ministry of Healing pg 143).

Heaven is all health. Ellen G. White – Mind, Character, and Personality (1977), Vol. 2, p. 411.

Our well-being is important to our ministry and our purpose, therefore it’s critical that we all begin to implement techniques and strategies that improve our overall health. Taking an holistic approach to developing a strategy is key to our growth.  Related scripture “Physical health is good…”1 Timothy 4:8.

“As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands” Psalm 119:143.
